What are Common Symptoms of TED?
Not everyone living with TED will experience the same symptoms, and the impact of each symptom can vary by individual. Common symptoms include:

Dry eyes

Redness of
the eyes
Pain in and
around the eyes
Eyeline
retraction
Bulging eyes,
known as proptosis
Sensitivity to light

Double vision,
known as diplopia
Swelling of the eyes and surrounding tissue

Damage to eyes and, in severe cases, potential loss of sight
In addition to the physical symptoms of TED, people often experience significant psychosocial complications, including depression, anxiety, self-consciousness, disconnection from friends and family as well as the inability to work and perform basic daily activities.
